Background:
Saba Broadcasting Institute consists of a complete set of broadcasting activities in order to cover all areas and tribes and is founded for. Besides broadcasting successful radio, medical and producing video and audio programs it is to broadcast TV programs. Due to need and growth of development in fields of infrastructural, electrical, connection and light fiber and huge advance in technology and ways of providing TV programs, Saba TV Network intended to use this opportunity as a useful purpose of informing, training and entertainment. Saba TV Network was founded in spring 2006 and as of that date is moving towards enhancement and making national TV broadcasts and collecting, making materials for the activation. Saba TV Network will completely be ready for permanent broadcast before the end of 2007.
Objective:
Saba TV Network participates in overall objective of Saba Broadcasting Institute as a broadcasting section i.e. providing people specially women the ways of being informed of events, reflecting of their voice and improving their thoughts in cities and suburbs.
Long term Plans:
Long term Plans of Saba are based on basic journalism activities as followed:
* Independent and real informing for all people of different categories living in and abroad without any discrimination.
* Enhancing general information of afghan society about different fields such as religious, historical, health, laws, social, cultural and educational so as to bright the people's minds for development of our country.
* Providing opportunities for entertainment through broadcasting entertaining programs.
* Preparing people's minds for understanding peace, freedom, development and respect to public, national and international opinions.
* Making programs in order to increase national spirit and living together.
* People's access to Saba TV Network's broadcasts all over the country specially suburbs.
* Attempting for independence of Saba broadcasting Institute.
* Attempting for independence and stability of economy of Saba broadcasting Institute.

* All afghan people of men, women, children, youth and old.
* Poor category of people.
* People who have special necessities like disabled.
Main activities of Saba TV Network:
* Preparing and broadcasting programs in official languages of our country.

24 hour broadcast in five major cities of Afghanistan:
In late 2007 Saba TV Network started it’s testing broadcast in five major cities: Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, Heart, Kandahar and Jalalabad.
